Employment Services
Community Living Burlington provides services for individuals with a developmental disability that include, but are not restricted to employment planning, supports coordination, job training, placement and maintenance, and travel route training. Employment support workers also provide education and on-going support to both the employee and the employer. The current roster of employers includes Canada Centre for Inland Waters, Tim Hortons, The Bank of Montreal, The Pond and Shaklee Canada Inc.
The Ontario Disability Employment Network is a professional body of employment service providers united to increase employment opportunities for people who have a disability. Their vision is that all people who have a disability in Ontario have access to the labour force and the ability to achieve meaningful employment.
