Life Skills

Life Skills offers participants the opportunity to get involved in a variety of activities designed to enhance daily living skills of individuals with a developmental disability. The program operates out of our facility at 3057 Mainway, Burlington.

Available activities for individuals with a developmental disability include communication development, academics, basic work skills, social and recreational development, personal care skills, exercise classes, craft classes, music therapy and baking classes. There are also activities that take the participants out into the community, such as library trips, swimming, bowling and trips to local parks and community sites. The Life Skills program operates Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
