Celebrating Community Living Month

May marks Community Living Month - a time to celebrate the accomplishments and strides made by the Community Living movement.
On May 21st, 2026 the Brant Street Pier was lit up blue and green in honour of Community Living Month. Members of the Community Living Burlington community gathered at the Pier for a toast and celebration!
On May 25th, 2026 Community Living Burlington celebrated Community Living Month with an official proclamation and flag raising at Burlington City Hall. Following remarks from Community Living Burlington Executive Director, Judy Pryde, and Burlington mayor, Marianne Meed Ward, the Community Living Burlington flag was raised with the help of supported individuals and staff members.
