Community Living Burlington was formed in November 1955, and was the 35th Association of its kind in Ontario. Upon formation, the then Mayor E.W. Smith noted that much can be accomplished by a small group with such an intense interest at heart.
Over 70 years later, Community Living Burlington remains steadfast in its mission, and continues to innovate, grow, and advocate within the Burlington community.
In celebration of Community Living Burlington's 70th Anniversary in 2025, an Interactive Timeline was created to highlight the numerous milestones and achievements of Community Living Burlington over the past seven decades.
