What's Available?

Friendship Connections Volunteers

Looking to build a meaningful connection? Become a Friendship Connections Volunteer and be matched one-on-one with an adult who has a developmental disability.  You’ll spend time together, based on your schedule. Whether it’s going for walks, enjoying a coffee, or sharing a hobby, these simple moments help create genuine, lasting friendships.  Every moment you share helps build connection, inclusion, and lasting friendship.

Fundraising / Special Event Volunteers

Join one of our fundraising committees or volunteer at one of our community events. Opportunities are available year round to support everything from planning and promotion to event day activities such as setup and teardown, registration, greeting guests, managing activity stations, and more.

Programs Volunteers

Volunteer weekly with one of Community Living Burlington’s day programs, where you’ll help ensure participants are actively involved and enjoying each activity. These programs are designed to promote creativity, connection, and community for individuals who have a developmental disability. Activities vary and may include: cooking, bowling, board & card games, gardening, crafts.

Committees

If working on a committee is more your style, we have several opportunities available including Connected Families, a parent advocacy and support group. Volunteers contribute their time and ideas to help shape programs, plan events, and support meaningful initiatives.

Interested? We’d be happy to share more information about the committees currently seeking members.

Corporate Volunteers

Corporate volunteers play a vital role in supporting our mission. Teams of employees come together to roll up their sleeves and take on meaningful projects like painting, gardening, or other hands-on initiatives. Their efforts directly enhance the spaces and experiences of people with developmental disabilities, helping to create inclusive environments and endless possibilities.
