Dream Weavers in Action

In March 2026 members of the Dream Weavers presented at training events to mark “Developmental Disability Awareness Month”.

On March 24th, Sam and Lacey spoke to the Children's Services team at the Halton Region office about self-advocacy, inclusion, and shared their lived experiences. Lacey discussed her creative talents, and showcased her recently published fantasy book, "Lacey Crystal and the Crystal Legacy: Tales from the Crystal Kingdom").

On March 26th, Katie spoke to direct support professionals from across the Halton Region about the importance of their work, and how they can create a meaningful impact on the lives of those they support!
